Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in an awesome game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like most other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about other, more experienced players taking their cash.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, novices are able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick selections.

It’s also easier to participate in for a long time with only a little bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer receives seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
