Web poker has become globally famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players are given five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a sum on par with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays money equal to your ante and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
