Poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer declares "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the bet is the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus a sum equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up cash equal to your ante and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
