Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in an excellent game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about other, more skillful gamblers taking their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied choices.
It is also simpler to participate in for a long time with basically a small amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and a 2 card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
