Internet poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer saying "No more bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a figure equal to the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
